This class, repeated over weeks, has continuously the same impact on the students life's / career as a hangout or a casual get-together would have.
The exercises that are proposed come in a format that adds to the feeling of casualty, lack of excitement, lack of importance and lack of commitment by the people involved. So with time, students start to associate these classes with hangout moments where talking about their own lifes while snacking and doodling is the focal point.
