skid

The word "skid" has many different definitions, but more commonly used online to refer to kids that are wannabe hackers, who have low-level knowledge of hacking and / or computers. They often plagiarize other people's work and call it their own, to look like "pro hackers", when they are really just noobs trying to look cool online.

Look at Tom, he's such a skid, he stole John's security software code and used it in his own program.
