Get the nalang mug.noun. The nasal version of a palate, as relates to smelling food while cooking it. As you cook, your nalate becomes desensitized to the scent of the food you are making. In order to smell the food (as a guest would smell it upon entering your house), you must cleanse your nalate by going outside and inhaling fresh air.
