Contrary to the other definition, the "Caucasian gene" is only recessive because of the racist "one drop rule". For example, the likes of Rashida Jones and Colin Powell have a skin tone that is arguably closer to "white" than "black".

SYNOPSIS: Jake Jackson is a happy, positive young black professional who has a good job and a relationship. But all this changes one day, when one of his white co-workers asks if he would be interested in a date. When Jake turns her down, she becomes upset. She concocts an incident at work which gets Jake fired from his job. This incident begins Jake's experience with racial bias. During Jake's job search, he continues to be bombarded with racial incidents from the police, security guards, job interviewers, and store owners. By the end of the film Jake is a changed man, frustrated, angry, and exhausted from all the racial bias he has experienced. However, Jake's luck changes when he encounters a wanted serial killer.

Popular usage started off with British NGOs and governments after the 2020 Summer of Love events called the George Floyd "protests" and the increasing mask-off attitude from the New World Order (NWO) oligarchs following that event.
In 2020, the Church of England created an Archbishops' Anti-Racism Taskforce to examine racism in the church. At the time, it primarily used the term "United Kingdom Minority Ethnic" (UKME). When the taskforce's report was published in April 2021, it chose a broader description of "United Kingdom Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage" (UKME/GMH) as more appropriate than BAME. The language of "Global Majority Heritage" is seen as a reminder that minorities often come from a majority culture before migrating to the UK. However, some have rejected the term because it is seen as associated with critical race and intersectional theories.
