Rest in Paradise

A spin-off of "Rest in Power", used to refer to people who died young and usually under tragic circumstances but does not involve murder, e.g. drug overdose, suicide, accident.

Robin Williams was a brilliant and gifted comedian who lost his personal battles with his demons. May be rest in paradise and find peace in the afterlife.

Kentucky Reset

The act of powering a piece of equipment off and on again in a blind attempt to correct a problem without troubleshooting first. This generally corrects the problem 80 percent of the time, spiking up to 99 percent if the faulty equipment happens to be a computer.

Steve pulled the old Kentucky Reset on the printer and sure enough, the red light turned off and it started printing!

an adjective describing a friend who fails to attend or participate in an 'essential' social activity... such as eating drugs or showing up at the club.
causes may include, but are not limited to:
falling asleep, staying home with the boyfriend/girlfriend, deciding to sober up, doing work, or ,god forbid, watching TV.

Phrase that used to be used at funerals when someone passed away, is now used on social media to milk attention and pity from “followers” or “friends”, posted as if it is supposed to be said to the dead person who won’t see it.
