Pleasuring one's self with knowledge; usually with assistance from a textbook, pencil, calculator,and/or pocket protector.

John got a detention when his physics teacher caught him nerding-off in the bathroom in the chapter on quantum mechanics. This was the first sexual assault of a physics book ever recorded.

A crush on someone that developed because of admiration for the person's skill/talent/intellectual abilities etc. Often used by straight(er) people to clarify that crushes of the same gender are more or less platonic.

A man (usually 29-35) who uses the website Ancestry.com too much. They’ve been on the site since 2008, and have collected around 30,000 names. They’ve traced they’re family lineage back to mediaeval peasants by the time you figured out your grandma’s birthday.
