The term is derived from experiments where a rodent is put into a maze containing a delicious piece of cheese (perhaps Roquefort) that is hooked up to a wire that shocks the rodent. The rodent keeps forgetting that's the shocky cheese.

Get the ass-cheesemug. Cheese that comes from the Fast Food stores where the cheese on the burgers is not cooked right and if breaks off while you hold it in your hands. Often you find yourself in the situation where you are using your laptop, or playing a PSP. or simply reading the newspaper. then a piece of cheese breaks off and lands on whatever gets on it's way.
