Master Debating

Master debating is an activity that young college students can engage in; notable examples include Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro.

It usually involves a person sitting near a university, and offering people the chance to debate with them over social issues such as gun laws, abortion rights, and political opinions

Becoming a master debater requires that you publish some of the footage online.

Eric Cartman: “These college girls are totally unprepared, so I can just destroy them and also edit out all the ones who argue back well.”

Liane Cartman: "Eric, are you alright in there?"

Eric Cartman: "Yeah, I'm fine, Mom, I'm just master debating."

Liane Cartman: "Look, Eric, that's enough. Let's get out of the bathroom."

Eric Cartman: "I can't, Mom, I'm master debating to these young girls"

Liane Cartman: "That's very naughty, Eric. Stop it"

Eric Cartman: "Mom, I finally got sponsored by a protein powder, so I got to master debate

cognitive debt

Increasingly common throughout the 21st century, "cognitive debt" refers to the phenomenon where your brain is increasingly "untrained" due to outsourcing your thinking to Google or ChatGPT.

With all the answers just a quick search away, I realized I was accumulating cognitive debt—my brain felt rusty because I relied too much on Google instead of remembering things myself.

I take debit

The crafty phrase that the homeless man outside the 7-11 responds with after asking you to spare some change. You must say that you are paying for your items with a debit card to trigger this response from the clever, yet annoying, homeless man.

Homeless man: Hey, can you spare some change
Justin: Nah, I am paying with my debit card
Homeless man: I take debit

coffee mug debugging

Just like the term Rubber duck debugging, which is in software engineering, a method of debugging code. The name is a reference to a story in the book The Pragmatic Programmer in which a programmer would carry around a rubber duck and debug their code by forcing themselves to explain it, line-by-line, to the duck. Many other terms exist for this technique, often involving different inanimate objects.

The "coffee mug debugging" is the same method of debugging code with which developers force themselves to read and explain their code line-by-line, to the coffee mug. There are developers who calls this planted plot debugging as well. But "coffee mug debugging" seems more convenient at this century since it's easy to find a coffee mug for a developer than a "rubber duck" or "planted plot".

I had done coffee mug debugging for my dart code in flutter and found out a syntax error and fixed it.
