A flashy, ostentatious person, often one who lacks real skill and is foolish etc.
Old equivalent of hipster. Used mainly as a generic light hearted insult.

Steelers Fan

The most fake, cocky, arrogant, dickriding NFL fan base this side of the Mississippi. Many claim to be loyal fans but in reality they just cheer for them because they're popular and that is ALL. There are loyal fans out there that truly bleed black n yellow (or gold) for the most part but chances are if you've encountered a Steelers fan outside of Pittsburgh, that person decided to jump on the bandwagon and dickride.

Steelers Fan 1: "every other team besides us are gay because we're the best"

Rest of the NFL: "go fuck yourself"

Avril Fan

I guess I'm one. Avril isn't exactly liked by everyone, but I don't hate her. Actually, I think she's a good singer. I realize that some people don't recognize her talent because they're too busy being brainwashed by their friends to think she sucks. But she doesn't. There's a song on her CD that describes her dead Grandfather. I can relate to that.

Prep: omg AvRiL r0x0rs my s0x0rsssrrsr!!!11!!11

Normal person: Avril is gay and she sucks!!!!

These are two very different extremes. I digress onto my own opinion.

Me: I like Avril's music. I find it as something that I can relate to.
