One-sided coin fallacy

One-sided coin fallacy occurs when a person only looks at one side of things, hence ¨one-sided coin fallacy¨. It occurs when someone argues that an action can exist while being completely oblivious that said action must have an opposite reaction.
Person A: Why are governments so stupid man? They can just raise the minimum wage to get rid of poverty.

Person B: Lol, that´s a one-sided coin fallacy. You can´t only look at the minimum wage going up, you also need to realize that companies paying more on wages will just make all their products more expensive.

One-more-stepism

One-more-stepism (noun): A cyclical pattern of project obstruction where the completion of a task is perpetually delayed by the introduction of a new, unforeseen requirement, often presented as the final step. This phenomenon creates an endless loop of "just one more thing," preventing a project or goal from ever reaching a definitive conclusion.

Psychological Underpinnings
One-more-stepism is often a tactic of psychological manipulation, whether intentional or unintentional. It functions by creating a false sense of progress for stakeholders. By constantly presenting a new "final step," the orchestrator maintains the illusion that the project is on the verge of completion. This can:

Provide a sense of comfort and security: Team members or clients are reassured that work is advancing, which can lower scrutiny and quell anxieties about stagnation.

Exploit commitment bias: Individuals who have already invested significant time, energy, or resources are more likely to agree to "one more step" rather than abandon the project.

Serve as a delay tactic: Malicious actors, or "crooks", can use this method to prolong an engagement for their benefit, such as continuing to bill for services, extracting more resources, or avoiding a final deliverable that they cannot produce. It keeps the other party hooked on the promise of a resolution that never arrives.

One episode number one fan

This mainly applies to television series that have ran for over a year. One episode number one fans are people who see one episode of a popular television show and try to integrate themselves into the fandoms of said show much to the annoyance of actual fans of the show who have been there since day one. They will usually try and strike up a conversation with an actual fan but most fans are not interested in somebody who knows barely anything about the series and will ignore them. This usually leads to them becoming aggressive over not being included in a fandom they know nothing about and will often accuse the fans of gatekeeping.
“Omg I love this show so much! I ship this character and that character!”

Real fan: “dude you’ve only seen one episode, stop acting like you’re a die hard! You are literally one episode number one fan.”
