Monkey Puzzle Tree

A tree which originates from Chile. Brought to the UK for the sole purpose of confusing American tourists who know little about trees and the UK in general. Looks different and therefore attracts conversation. Many UK citizens are well informed about its origins but due to its unusual name, US citizens often believe them to be untruthful in its namesake.

US tourist: Hey what tree is that?

UK Citizen: Why thats the Monkey Puzzle Tree!

US tourist: No way, your totally making that up.

UK Citizen: Of course not and I can even prove it on the internet.

Lemon Tree

Refers to a relationship between a Western man and his Asian girlfriend. The man will usually display one (if not all) of the following characteristics: White, old (often much older than the girl), fat, bald, often generally unattractive.

In most cases the woman does not speak English fluently and can be seen either wrapped around the man in public, smiling at him emptily, or staring off into space while the man hangs out with his English-speaking friends. She will likely be scantily clad and display hooker-ish tendencies although she may or may not be a prostitute.

Lemon trees are most frequently found in Southeast Asia, particularly Bangkok Thailand.

The phrase originated from the need for an innocuous term to acknowledge this phenomenon without the subjects knowing you are talking about them and/or judging them mercilessly.

(walking past the couple) "Did you see that lemon tree?"

(standing next to the couple) "The lemon trees are in full bloom this time of year."

(in an area with many lemon trees) "I didn't know there were lemon tree groves here."

California Christmas tree

a palm tree decorated like a Christmas tree(palm trees are plentiful in California, Florida and other states with similar climates)

His parents did not believe in using artifical trees. However, no evergeen trees grew where they came form. The solution was to get a California Christmas tree.

teeeeea

One day an arabic man, while working in a restaurant became thirsty, so he said to one of the people he works with. In his thick accent, "Jems, can you plis get me some iced teeeeea." at this current moment the boss was walking past and heard the man say "teeeeea" so he though this is great, walked into the restaurants back room and yelled "teeeeea" at the top of his lungs while looking over his shoulder. now known as teeeeeaing. this took off and along with plis, chis plais and other less commonly known calls.

there are a small bunch of people that go teeeeeaing but it is rare so if seen or heard it must be shouted in reply.

"did you see James just teeeeea that guy?" "yeah that was great!"
