When you see someone that you know you either don’t have a chance with or simply wouldn’t usually go for, but the opportunity shows, you wouldn’t turn it down out of simple curiosity. The idea comes from the way a hypothetical statement is set up. IF I had sex with this person, THEN I would know what it’s like with that person specifically.

Humans don't define "Science", it defines humans, and biology, and particles, and all and everything. Therefore the laws behind "Science" can be also understood as common sense.
