You say something funny (or not funny) and they laugh. You say something again that might be funny (or not funny) and they continue to laugh. Then they are annoying.

An individual who requires laughter in response to inane comments, stories and humor. Typically, an employer/supervisor who derives adulation from an employee, who assumes the role of the 'laugh whore' and laughs at virtually everything the laugh pimp says.

"Carl is such a laugh pimp. He keeps making those dumb comments to try to get a laugh. Too bad his laugh whore is the only one forcing a laugh."
