Subpar, in the middle, 5 out of 10. Used to describe something that is not that good, but not bad either. However, some think that the word “mid” means “below average” or “bad”. Please try to inform these people of the actual meaning.

Person 1: “Hey, did you watch that new show?”

Something that is ok or fine, It isn't good or bad its just alright, it can be used to insult something but it can be sometimes misinterpreted in a different way.

Or of they are using it in a bad way:
