Slinger

Derives from "gun slinger". A 6f or larger, circle or square of denim, canvas, or burlap with a hole for the wearer's head in the center. Usually woven of black, dark brown, and navy blue threads. Worn over a shirt.

The slinger disguises the gunslinger's movements. It is also often worn over long johns at night as a blanket.

A wheel that has a free spinning exterior portion so that at stops, it still looks like it is moving. Can be expensive, but you can get cheap plastic hub cap versions at crappy auto parts stores. The plastic ones are often seen on pizza delivery boys' cars

People who followed the Grateful Dead( 1965-1995 )on tour, usually loosely affilaited with The Rainbow Family or similar nomadic hippie groups, who spinned round and round with arms extended in hallways and usually in the back of arena or stadiums where GD used to play. Haven't been seen since 1995 not even on Phish, Phil Lesh or similar jam band tours. They could be considered modern day Whirling Dervishes as they, like the Dervishes, would spin to obtain an altered state of consciousness similar to LSd and psilocybin, drugs often used at Dead shows.

santa fe stinger

A home made mixed drink that originated in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Like an excorcism only a few people in Santa Fe know how to make the drink and i happen to be one of them. First you get a large drink from McDonalds and fill 1/4 of the cup with Dr.Pepper. Next fill smirnof any flavor, boons farm, mickeys, old e hg, a tiny bit of malibu then top it off with more Dr.Pepper but add a spoon full of brown sugar. To achive maximum pleasure of your taste buds use Dr.Pepper made with Pure Cane Sugar. Also keep all the alcohol chilled. DO NOT STIR OR SHAKE! This drink is carefully formulated to be drank straight from the cup with no lid or straw. The sting will come from the kick in the ass that you get from the sugar with the Dr.Pepper at the end. You may also slam a red bull after to intensify this affect.

Dave: Are you sure your ready for the Santa Fe Stinger?

John: I have been ready for this since the day i was born!
