double drop

A scam where a waiter/waitress used the same check for two tables, one which was never entered into the system. They then pocket the cash from the table never really billed.

When the double dropped table asked why their drinks were incorrect, the waitress said she entered it wrong but they're the same price and that satisfied the customer keeping the scam secret.

v. to make an assist in basketball i.e. to pass the ball to a teamate who then successfully scores a basket. Usually this term is used in streetball competitions.

Alex did not score many points in yesterday's basketball game but he led the team with ten assists by constantly dropping dimes.

There are many reasons for one to drop out. Including: Drugs, mental disorders, unexpected pregnancy, illness, being teased in school, learning disabilities, no ambitions, ect,.
