Peaked in high school

This phrase is used to describe people who reached their maximum potential in high school. People who peaked in high school were the "coolest, most athletic, prettiest" they ever were or will ever be.

I can't believe she's a bum, Mia Baroni was a prime example of someone who peaked in high school.

Toll Gate High School

A public High school in Warwick, Rhode Island. Student population of about 1,200. It’s all the kids who went to Cedar Hill, Drumrock, Greenwood, Scott, Wickes, and Robertson combined. You go to middle school at Winman Junior High School if you live in the Toll Gate District. Most of the teachers here suck at their jobs, with the exception of a handful. Out of the three public schools in Warwick, Toll Gate probably has the nicest campus, which isn't saying much considering minimal renovations have been made since it opened in the early 70's. There is a separate hallway for every grade’s lockers, with seniors getting their own in a separate building from the other three classes. The sports at TG are usually decent, with one or two Division I teams. Best football team in the town besides Hendricken.During the school year, fights happen about once a week, usually between some freshman kids who think their badass over a girl or something else stupid. There is a cop specially assigned to this school because of it, as well as the constant smoking and drug use there. Some of the kids who go here say they hate it, but once you become a senior and realize you’ll have to leave most students start to like it. The kids at Toll Gate know how to party and get away with doing things against the (very few) rules there, so most of the time there is a way to have a good time.

Winman Kid #1: I can’t wait to get out of this shithole and get to Toll Gate High School next year
Winman Kid #2: Same here dude, I can’t wait to be a Titan.

Girl #1: Oh, sucks that you have to go to Toll Gate next year.
Girl #2: Yeah, but at least it’s not as bad as Vets or Pilgrim.

Pizza Guy #1: Hey, It’s another kid from Toll Gate ordering pizza from class
Pizza Guy #2: Yeah, make sure you deliver it to the back parking lot door.

city heights

The most eastern area in San Diego, bordered by Mid-City to the west and La Mesa to the east. Besides Southeast, it is the most dangerous area in San Diego. It is actually very pleasant to visit, there are mostly crumbling beauty salons, Asian markets and laundry, and little Mexican taco shops (Aiberto's and Filiberto's, mainly). There are two high schools in City Heights, Crawford High Educational Complex and Hoover High. Hoover High is one of the worst high schools in San Diego. Crawford has been recently renovated. The majority of City Heights is very diverse, mostly Mexican, Asian, and African American, but at the schools in City Heights you will see almost everything you could imagine on the ethnicity chart. The area recently got an urban village, community center, and Metro Center. Houses are very beautiful and well-looked after, but you will notice bars on windows and doors, and lots of tagging. The people living there are very friendly.

We're gonna go to City Heights, chill at the park on Orange Ave, go to Aiberto's and get some rolled tacos, get our hair done at Hair Raising Experiences on University, and ride our chill bikes through da streets!

High School

A place where people age 14-18 are required to go to. Text books are outdated by 15 to 20 years and most teachers spend more time telling the class about their personal life than actually teaching. Also, many teachers double as coaches for the schools sports teams, and would rather talk about last night's game than explain the lesson. The gym teacher will make you feel like shit and the health teacher will tell you never to have sex one (you'll get AIDS and die!) and will then procede to show you a video on birth control and how to use condoms.

In my high school experience, I didn't really see any real cliques. It wasn't like the preps only hung out with the preps and the goths only hung out with the goths. But maybe that was just my school.

High school is also home to insane dress codes, shitty food, graffiti, fights, vicious rumors, and noting that will prepare you for the real world.

However, high school is still way better than middle school.

At my high school the heater never worked, people huffed glue in the bathrooms, my chemistry teacher told me I would go nowhere in life, and approximately forty percent of the students were involved in a gang.
