A person that has a slower pace of life. They are that friend that’s main habitat is the couch and are often found ‘slothing’ round. They are your unemployed friend on a Tuesday and their spirit animal is the slow mammal.

Slithery Salmon

Someone who walks away quickly before a door closes for the door to then be shut infront of someone's face. Similar to the motions of a salmon upstream.

Slothful Induction Fallacy

The logical fallacy of rejecting a well-supported conclusion despite overwhelming evidence, usually because accepting it would require uncomfortable changes or challenge cherished beliefs. It's the inverse of hasty generalization: hasty induction jumps to conclusions with too little evidence; slothful induction refuses to reach conclusions despite ample evidence. Classic in climate denial, vaccine skepticism, and any domain where evidence conflicts with identity.

"Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree, and the evidence is overwhelming, but I'm just not convinced." That's Slothful Induction Fallacy—refusing to draw the conclusion that all available evidence points to. At some point, skepticism becomes denial, and evidence becomes irrelevant."

Slothful Reward Bias

A manipulative tactic where someone offers a monetary or tangible reward not as a genuine incentive for a task, but as a trap to completely discredit you. The tests or challenges are designed by the reward-giver to be unwinnable or rigged, giving them total control over the narrative. When you fail to meet their impossible standards, they use your attempt to claim the reward as "proof" of your incompetence, greed, or bad faith, thus achieving their real goal of destroying your credibility.

Example: "He offered me $10,000 to build a website in a weekend, with specs that would take a team of five a month. It wasn't a job offer; it was pure Slothful Reward Bias."
