The game must have two or more players and they say numbers in numerical order, one after the other at a fast pace, and when a prohibited number is reached, the player(s) must say “BUZZ” and the following player(s) must keep the numerical sequence going. EXAMPLE: If “2” is the “BUZZ” number and there are three players — P1 “1”; P2 “BUZZ”; P3 “3”; P1 “4”; P2 “5”; P3 “6”; P1 “7”; P2 “8”; P3 “9”; P1 “10”; P2 “11”; P3 “BUZZ”; P1 “13“; so on and so forth… The saying of numbers in numerical order keeps going until all but one player is eliminated. Elimination happens if you say a prohibited number, a number out of sequence (because you lost track of count), or you took too long to say your number. This game is usually played to overcome boredom and/or on long road trips.
It’s super challenging when the BUZZ number is “1”; the first person to go forgets to NOT start off with “One” or there’s an elimination somewhere between 10 and 19. And god forbid you get to the 100s!
