Fake-text

Whenever you're in an awkward situation, so you pretend to text, so you won't feel as weird. Comes in handy when trying to avoid people you don't like, or aren't comfortable around.

Jenna: Oh my god, Marie's party was so awkward. I just didn't know anyone there.

Amanda: Did you fake-text to make yourself look less socially awkward?

Jenna: Duh, I'm not an idiot.

When someone sends you a text message and you write them back the a second later they call you and you have to pick up the phone because they know you have your phone.

I was at the movie with jacob when Becca text trapped me. I texted her to let her know what we were doing tomorrow and then she called me!
