Hate Drinking

A sudden, conscious, and uncontrollable impulse to drink excessively regardless of consequence because you have one of those 'I hate everything' days.

Sally: I lost my job, failed my final exam, my boyfriend just broke up with me, and my car was broken into.
Vincent: Damn, sounds like you've had a bad day.
Sally: Yeah, I'm going hate drinking tonight cuz it's just been one of those days.
Vincent: I feel ya.

Drive By Engineering

Engineering accomplished, usually incorrectly, by walking in the vicinity of a project, and attempting to point out how it could be better or how it is wrong.
The drive by engineer is usually in a position of authority and has failed to consider all of the relevant facts before making his or her incorrect claims. The victim of the drive by engineering is then forced to spend several hours justifying the design to the superior.

drifter (Noun)

A person who is using an electronic device (i.e. texting, facebook or any other social media) while walking and not paying attention to their surroundings. They typically drift across the side walk and cutoff or collide with other people on the side walk. They are clueless and seem to be on another planet inside their phones. 99% of the time their heads are down while walking, they only lift their heads to take a sip from the coffee they are usually carrying.

The drifter (Noun) was meandering down the street and almost got hit by a car and then walked into a telephone pole.
