Not being transparent about dating choices.
To act as a blatant player.

Residential Dating

When a guy ONLY wants to "date" a girl in the privacy of his/her home.

Residential dating involves a guy and girl spending time together at his or her place and never going out on dates in the public.

Residential dating is fine for already established couples, but is inappropriate for 1st, 2nd or even 3rd dates.

Date Stopper

A statement said during a date, usually a first or blind date, that for one of the daters instantly assures that there will be no follow up call or second date.

A vegan female asks her blind date, "So, what are some of your hobbies? What do you like to do on the weekends?"

Her male date answers, "Well, I'm an avid hunter. Deer hunting is by far my favorite but I'll pretty much hunt anything in season."

The rest of the evening can vary after a Date Stopper statement, in some cases the date might contiue and end cordially. Other cases may end much more drastically, dramaticly and possibly include a very public spectacle!!! Either way, it's usually the last of any communication between the two

mono date

A calendar date consisting of all like digits; i.e. month, day and at least the final two digits of calendar year are comprised of similar numbers. (Digits fall so that the numeric date will be repetitive.)

Superstition surrounds such dates in many cultures and religious/occult practices. The dates can be seen as being either good or bad omens, but most seem to consider the dates lucky or auspicious.

The last complete mono date of this decade will be 12/12/12 and will be the last mono date, or near mono date for at least a decade. After 2020, there will be combinations such as 02/20/20, but an absolute repeat will not occur again for a century.

Examples: Sept. 9'th 1999 - 9/9/99

Jan. 1'st 2001 - 01/01/01

Feb. 2'nd 2002 - 02/02/02

and so on.

Individuals on Youtube who make money/validation by simply rewording the "numbers game" (just keep asking out) theory . Their "advice" is designed to string you along, with one thing after another, usually to the point of where some advice contradicts the previous.

There are an abundance of self proclaimed "dating experts online" these days.

"Just do these 17 things, now say these 3 magic words, then do these 34 things, and don't forget to subscribe and watch my neverending array of videos, then buy my course, now repeat the process and buy my next course" - Dating expert.
