Two-in-the-Goo

Like "three-on-the-tree" for a 3spd column shift manual gearbox, or "four-on-the-floor" for a 4spd floor shift manual gearbox, "Two-in-the-Goo" refers to a 2spd Automatic transmission, most obviously a Chevrolet / G.M. Powerglide.

Two denoting the number of forward speeds, and "goo" describing the slushy, slippy nature of an automatic trans.

This old clunker came with a 283 with Two-in-the-Goo originally, but we quickly sorted that problem out with a 383/Muncie Four-on-the-Floor combo years ago and haven't looked back.

Gobbeldy Goo

Gobbeldy Go is a playful creation by Joey Guy, and it doesn't have an official definition. However, based on similar-sounding words, we can infer that it might fall into the category of gobbledygook. Gobbledygook refers towardly and generally unintelligible jargon. It's often used to describe language that is inflated, unclear, or fails to communicate effectively. Ben’s Magic goo

The odd, slightly sticky substance produced by cave trolls, namely those called “Ben”. Often found by those exploring the depths of his cave, this goo can either make you reproduce trollettes infinitely, or destroy the world.

Nic: We’re fricken trapped. There’s no way we will defeat the troll and get out!
Keria: We could try reproducing the trollettes and defeat the ben! That’s the only option.
Nic: How are we supposed to do that?
Keria: Downing Ben’s magic goo… it’s the only option…
