YouTube commenter

A YouTube commenter is typically a basement dwelling neckbearded asshole who has absolutely nothing to do with their sad lives other than be a total self righteous prick on the internet and ruins everyone’s day as a result these same people will stone you to death the very second they find someone it you did something shitty years ago and you don’t do it anymore like cyberbully someone even tho there’s a good chance they are guilty of being assholes themselves and anytime you mention that they probably are guilty of being assholes they say shit like “oh you’re projecting” but that’s really not true at all they’re just saying that I’m projecting becuase they not only don’t know why I telling them that but it’s also because they don’t want to acknowledge that they guilty of being assholes
Hi I’m a YouTube commenter and I think I’m a sinless angel that doesn’t deserve even a slap on the wrist because I think I’m better than everyone else

Youtube mantra

When youtubers say 'Like, share, comment, subscribe, hit the bell notification button'
I usually just end the video when youtubers start reciting the youtube mantra

YouTube vein

Named for the geological concept of a mineral vein, a vast region of a particular valuable mineral which may lie hidden inside solid rock until a miner or digger inadvertently punches through and discovers it.

A YouTube vein is a huge collection of similar and interesting videos on YouTube, which you had never been aware existed, and which you discovered through the "Related Videos" list on some other video. The Related Videos list on each video within the vein will similarly lead to a huge number of other videos inside the vein, so that once you enter the vein, you can be exploring it for hours via the Related Videos links.

It may be difficult to get out of the vein, because if it's large enough, all of the related videos on almost all of the videos within the vein will lead to more videos within the vein, in an inescapable closed circuit. Conversely, once out it can be difficult to get back in (without using the browser's Back button) because by definition, the videos that lead into the vein are obscure and don't come up often in searches and related-videos lists. It's only a vein if its entry points are in that way hard to come by or obscure, but once inside it proves to be enormous.
I looked at this Japanese music video that came up in a YouTube search and uncovered an enormous youtube vein of old japanese pop music in the related videos!

YouTube and Cry

Similar to Netflix and Chill, but applied to Online Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the "New Normal", many educators began posting their lessons onto YouTube.

For many students who were forced to maintain social distancing away from friends, "Netflix and Chill" soon gave way to "YouTube and Cry".
Pierre:

Hey, do you wanna come over for some Netflix and Chill?

Elliott:

I can't. My whole family is being quarantined. It'll just be YouTube and Cry for the next 14 days.
