Death Pop

Death Pop are a band formed in Slough, Berkshire, UK in 1982. A five piece: vocals, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone, they play dark swamp punk 'n' roll, and are now in their 29th year.
Released recordings include 7" single 'Roger's Gone Mad' 1983
and 'The Siege of Sebastopol' their 2011 album.

Death Pop the band coined the term 'Death Pop' first in 1982. This is documented in the UK media.

Death Race

An event in which 3 teams of five people each have to drink 1 liter of vodka, 36 beers, and a blunt. Whichever team finishes first wins the grand prize. Each team member is allotted 1 vomit during the death race. Usually the teams finish within 30 minutes.

Tonight's the death race for the park in which its the lifeguards versus park attendants versus grill staff.

Gothenburg Death

A subgenre of death metal, which originated in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. Prominent characteristics include heavy, melodic riffs; growled vocals; fast tempos; and usually high quality production.

Some of the most well-known bands in the genre include At The Gates, In Flames and The Haunted.

death wobble

A mechanical condition that exists in the front end of vechiles with a solid front axle. The result is a violent shaking or wobble that makes the vehicle hard to control. Most often referred to by Jeep enthusiasts and can be seen in use on forums such as JeepForum or NAXJA.

I just lifted my jeep I was driving down the road hit a bump and then the Death Wobble started!!

An archetypal haircut worn in the death rock scene, which is a modification of the mohawk. It is often very ratty looking, "spooky", teased, and usually complimented by spikes near the ears pointing down like sideburns.
