Get the Down wealthy mug.system of a down is an armenian-american band formed in glendale california in 1994. members: serj tankian (lead vocalist, keyboards) daron malakian (guitar, vocals), shavo odadjian (bass, backing vocals), and john dolmayan (drums), who replaced original drummer andy khachaturian. their most popular songs are toxicity (from the toxicity album), chop suey (toxicity), sugar (self titled), and B.Y.O.B. (mezmerize). their genre is considered nu-metal, or prog metal, although they don't like to stick with a genre and just do whatever they want. many people call them "poser metal", but that isn't the case at all. they just do as they want. not all metal has to be thrash, there are many different metal sub-genres. in their songs, they sing about genocides, suicide, drugs, politics, etc. i really suggest listening to them! if you want to learn more about them, you should read their wiki page.
