A phrase used to illustrate a shared opinion or feeling i.e. implying that two people are on the same wavelength.

A visual illustration may also accompany this verbal utterance which is signified by an intonation both eyebrows. Thus ensuring the recipient can be of no allusion as to what this phrase is symbolising.

This visual illustration can also be of use in covert situations when the sender does not wish to convey this samewavelengthiness to others.

sameguy

That one guy you see EVERYWHERE. You cross paths several times a month, minimum, but neither of you ever acknowledges the situation beyond fleeting, inadvertent eye contact. Though sameguy's level of personal mystique varies on a case-by-case basis, he's never crush-worthy or even friend-worthy. If he were, you would have spoken to him by now.

It doesn't matter what neighborhood I'm in or what I'm doing there, I ALWAYS see that sameguy with the with the greasy hair and mismatched Converse high-tops.

I slipped and fell on some ice while running for the bus and of course, that sameguy was on the bus and saw the whole thing.

Falling into same category, something similar.

When having or asking for similar options instead of saying “do you have something else like this or that? Just say “is there samething else“. When at a bar and the bartender offers a type of Vodka but you are looking for a different brand “do you have samething else?” Meaning you want him to offer you a different type of Vodka or Vodka mix. When watching a comedy show or action/scary movie on Netflix and you tell your partner “lets look for samething else” meaning you want to watch something funny of the same category ex: standup, but from a different comedian.
