A modern derivation of Kung Fu found when a fight breaks out in the middle of the dance floor, mosh pit, or rave.
Usually involves the offending party being drunk or otherwise drugged and making an ass of themselves followed by an ass kicking under the bright flickering lights of the rave/dance floor which makes the whole thing look that much cooler.

Raver 1: "What the fuck happened?!"
Raver 2: "I dunno that fucktard pulled out a knife and the other guy went all Rave Fu on his ass!"

Get the ravelinks mug.a neighborhood north of downtown LA which was destroyed in order to make room for Dodger Stadium. No respect was given to those families who had lived in Chavez Ravine for generations who were evicted to make way for the incoming Brooklyn Dodgers. The park is still located in 'Chavez Ravine' but the community is no longer there. The sections in the Ballpark surrounding left field are now called Mannywood, in homage to the performance enhanced hispanic superstar brought over from Boston. Some beleive the spirits of the displaced still wreak havoc on Dodger karma.

Get the Chavez Ravine mug.wild party or music situation that is largely off the track, off the wall, off the hook, e.t.c.
there was a 60s' yardbirds album called, 'lets' have a rave-up' this alluded to extended guitar soloing, feedback, assorted abstract musical departure.
rave-up could lend itself to the more modern 'rave', where the object also is to 'get wild'!!
'rave-up' has some history with the influence of psychedelic drugs upon those musicians who would, "shake the air" (-frank zappa)
someone 'raving' could (and should!) be perceived as 'out of their head', ie: geniune insanity, or temporary insanity/drug influence...this is not always all bad!!
