ridicament

A ridiculous predicament. As if a predicament wasn't bad enough, being put in a ridiculous predicament just tops it off completely. The most ridiculous of difficult, perplexing or dangerous situations to be put in.

To a close friend:"Mate, could you just let your Wife know, from me, that I love her... Oh, and also your son, may not be yours... Sorry to put you in this ridicament. Thanks!" Friend walks away...
