Notification Ramifications

When you've gone on a facebook spree and now get 50 thousand notifications. Usually you've commented on something obscure and the ensuing comments spiral into a whirlwind comment-fest that you wish you'd never begun.

Man, I wish I hadn't gone on that facebook spree! Now I can't log in to facebook without having 50 thousand notifications, all from commenting on Scott's status! The notification ramifications from that comment are insane!

notification attack

Barraging someones Facebook wall with meaningless posts or comments so that the next time they log in they will have dozens of notifications. This can be very useful in annoying someone, but it takes a lot of time so you should get a life instead.

I have 167 notifications because of Jeremy's notification attack. Doesn't he have anything better to do?

notification bomb

Upon liking or commenting a photo/status/wall post on Facebook, you have tons of notifications from other people who have commented on that photo/status/wall post.

Friend 1: Man... I got tagged in one of those "Type of Friend" photos today.

Friend 2: What's so bad about that?

Friend 1: I logged out, then back in an hour later, and I had 65 notifications saying that someone else kept commenting on that photo.

Friend 2: Bro, I'm sorry. You got totally notification bombed right there.

When one complains on facebook about recieving notifications at the top of their screen.

The notifications could come from being tagged on a post, through a message or a group.

You tagged Dinera Nabad in a photo.

Dinera Nabad says: Hey can someone untag me from this I'm sick of all these notifications it annoying.

Crawty Lerford says: Bump.

Alistar Cooper says: Bump.

Dinera Nabad says: REALLY GUYS, THIS SPAM IS BLOCKING MY IMPORTANT STUFF.

Noobification

The poor design strategy used by Video Game designers in which they fill the game with ridiculously obvious clues and instructions in order to explain to the player what is happening or what must be accomplished in the game. Typically used to aid todays younger audience in gaming.

Batman would just not stop reminding me I had to get to the Bell Tower while I was playing Arkham City. It's too bad that game was noobified.

I hate it when I have to follow a certain person in a game and there is a giant Las Vegas-like sign above them that says "FOLLOW". Noobification strikes again.
