going through the motions

To go through your everyday life in a mechanical manner, as in:
waking up,
going to work,
getting back home,
watching TV,
going to sleep,
repeat.

After an amount of time, it becomes really annoying and boring.
Makes you wanna kill yourself or start using drugs.

Also, an awesome song from "Once more, with feeling".

God, ever since the holidays began I've been going through the motions and doing the same damn thing every day with a total lack of interest.
Maybe I should get some pot.

Motionless In White

Motionless in white is an American gothic metalcore band that was formed in Scranton Pennsylvania. The current members are Christopher Thomas ¨Motionless” Cerulli. (Chris Motionless, vocals) Richard Allen ¨Horror” Olson III (Ricky Horror, rhythm guitar), Joshua Joseph Balz (Balz or Josh Balz, Keyboard) Ryan Sitkowski (Lead guitar) ,Devin ¨Ghost” Sola (Bassist) and Vinny Mauro (Drums). Chris is now the only original remaining member, Angelo (co-founder, drummer), left in early 2013, due to physical and mental health issues. Short after a new drummer was hired, Brandon Richter. He was a member of the band until 2014, when he stated that he will sadly no longer be apart of the band and that he will not go into great detail why.

mobius trip

kinda like travelling in circles in the real world but instead through an online resource such as youtube or wikipedia and finding yourself inadvertently back where you started.

Whoa, I was searching for a recipe for flapjacks, got distracted by maple syrup sex games, and about two hours later found myself back at flapjacks. That was some mobius trip.
