The state in which the United States today is in; extreme unawareness about the world around you and the history of it. Ignorance people are usually proud of people ignorant, one of the saddest things that our pathetic world has acomplished.

ignorance is bliss

The lack of knowledge in reference to a situation, particularly a messy one. Once the whole truth is revealed one realizes they were much happier being clueless.

Ana was desperately in love with her long-distance boyfriend Aaron... until she found out he cheated on her multiple times.

Sadly her heart was broken, with no hopes of repair and she realized "ignorance is bliss."

Religious ignorance

Someone who only has knowledge of their own religion (usually a form of Christianity) rather than the major ones: Islam, Jewism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Buddhism. Also: someone who has their eyes blinded to truth by religious ignorance (ie: dinosaurs could not have existed - they are not in the Bible)

Religious ignorance usually is concentrated in churches - how ironic.

Degrees of Ignorance

Starting with any article on Wikipedia, the number of clicks that are required for you to find a sentence that you recognize/understand is your degree of ignorance.

I looked up trace theory the other day, but in order to understand that, I had to click through to free monoid, and from their to the entry on monoid, and from there to algebraic structure, which understand. So, I don't understand trace theory by 3 degrees of ignorance.

Lacking knowledge/being rude doesn't make you happy, #1: Lacking knowledge will make you look stupid (depends on the IQ level). Nobody likes it when people are stupid.
#2: Being rude will make everyone hate you. Nobody like it when people are rude.

Future: Then you will be sad for the rest of your life.
