1: I got a new copy of Smash Bros.

2: It's not wrapped though.

2: Ah, yes.

When you're offered an amount of money that's an absolute joke for the value of the item you're selling.

Customer: How much can I get for this game?

Employee: Best I can do is $2.

Customer: Keep your gamestop money. I'll just sell it online...

Gamestopped

When a company, person, or similar does the bait-and-switch. When you are expecting one thing, but get something completely different. Another word for getting shanked.

A common situation where this can be used is when you really want a new video game console, but the only people who have them are scalpers who charge 150%+ over retail. "You’ll get Gamestopped if you buy from those people.”
