Patty and Selma

Patty and Selma Bouvier are fictional characters on the long running, animated show "The Simpsons". They are the older twin sisters of Marjorie Jacqueline "Marge" Simpson(nee Bouvier). The twins each have large, puffy light-purple hair. They are both avid smokers with graveled voices, presumably hereditary as both their mother and sister have the same graveled voices. Although they are largely the same, there are a few ways that they are different. The main way being that Patty is a lesbian. Selma wears a sleeveless, knee length blue dress and oval necklace while Patty wears a short sleeved, knee length orange dress, with blue pearls. Both sisters desperately hate Homer Simpson, their brother in law and do everything they can to cause him pain and humiliation.

Patty: Hey, Selma, there's Homer, going into the kwiki mart.
Selma: We could spray paint his car.
Patty: We could never do that. We're not lonely old maids, with nothing better to do than smoke and troll other people...oh, wait, we are!!!

Patty and Selma

Patty and Selma are two cartoon characters from the Simpsons, they are Marge Simpson's two older sisters. When Patty and Selma were children they were very unfriendly with their sister Marge and disagreed with her wanting to be an astronaut by saying "Women cannot be astronauts" . When Patty and Selma became adults even though they are still adults they seemed to be more friendly with their sister Marge and are a fond of Bart, Lisa and Maggie. They do not like Marge's husband Homer Simpson and wanted Marge to marry Artie Siff instead of Homer.

Similarities between Patty and Selma:
•They both smoke
•They both hate Homer Simpson

•They both work on the DMV

•They both share the same room in their apartment

•They are twins

Differences between Patty and Selma:
•They both have afros but in different shapes, Patty's afro is round in the shape of a ball while Selma's afro is in the shape of a letter 'M'
•Patty wears a pink dress with short sleeves while Selma wears a blue dress with no sleeves

•Patty totally hates Homer Simpson and has never been nice to nice to Homer before while Selma is rarely nice to Homer but most of the time she hates Homer as well as Patty. This message from above shows you that Patty is more hostile to Homer than her twin sister Selma
•Patty is a lesbian while Selma is a heterosexual

•Patty is a severe snorer when she sleeps while Selma doesn't snore at all

When Marge Simpson had to go to Rancho Relaxo, Bart and Lisa had to stay with Patty and Selma while Maggie got to stay in the Simpson's house with Homer. Bart and Lisa were very unhappy when they had with Patty and Selma for one week, Bart had to sleep with Patty who snores while Lisa had to sleep with Selma who doesn't snore.
