A Conservative from a Liberal or politically evolving state that moves to a supposedly more politically aligned state and drones on and on about what hardships and tyranny they faced in their old suburb. Once they settle into their new home, they typically act like they are lifelong locals voicing very controversial opinions, loudly, and changing the local narratives. (Example: Complaining that the local news paper has turned into a liberal publication and that they won't read it, but that they used to way back when they first came to the state, 1 year ago.)
The Refugees who had it especially difficult just trying to survive under their old regime, end up buying a political office using their excess money they made back in their former homeland. Once they get into office, anytime they are faced with a differing opinion, they respond that they are representing (Montana's) values, implying the actual person from the state isn't compatible with their home.

That Republican Refugee is always complaining about how the local newspaper has turned into liberal propaganda machine, and how the paper used to be better way back when they first moved to the state, 8 months ago.
I'm tired of all these Republican Refugees with their "*** Biden" and Montana is home bumper stickers with California/Texas license plate.
That new guy at work loves it here. He just can't accept that I can go outside without shooting an animal. It sounds like he suffered some real hardships back in California. That Republican Refugee is so lucky he got out from the oppressive regime before they taxed him so he could buy another political flag or bumper sticker with offensive language.

An American who fled TikTok before or after it was banned in the U.S. to RedNote. These people are idiots who think they are freedom fighters, oppressed by giving the middle finger at the U.S. government by going from one Chinese app to another and trying to learn Mandarin. This trend, 99.99% composing of crybabies and "influencers" with did not plan in advance even with everything going on in the past few weeks about the ban, will most likely die in less than a month, maybe within a week.
PS: I don't support the ban, but I think it is funny to see idiotic trends and "influencers" have meltdowns and chronically online dumbasses have temper tantrums.

One that has gone to great lengths to escape the unrelenting grips of the US Governmental ban on TikTok, typically by utilizing alternate authentic Chinese entertainment apps.
After the US ban on TikTok, I had no choice but to switch apps and become a TikTok refugee, after which I was often greeted in the comments by Chinese users saying “hello TikTok refugee, I am Chinese spy, give me your data or show me your cat”

Those people who no longer are allowed on major Social Media platforms, despite never breaking the Community Standards. Attempting to create their own platforms results in the shadowy players getting ISP'S and Server Hosts to deny them service, thus leaving them essentially voiceless in today's society. A person who was an avid viewer of LiveLeak videos, and from the banned website that was LiveLeak, turned to other sites to fuel their sick crave for shock content. The case of the LiveLeak Refugee is an example of looking elsewhere to newer, less violent, but still quite shocking sites, often being combat footage videos, accident compilations, or obscure violent videos only few veteran viewers of LiveLeak get to see.
