pelvisonian

The politically correct term for hipsters.

Since "hipster" has taken a somewhat derogatory tone both inside and outside of the hipster subculture, that term may cause confusion when expressing appreciation or approval for some aspect of that subculture. The term "pelvisonian" can be used in such cases to identify the culture in a neutral tone.

I really hate those thick hipster glasses, but I agree with the pelvisonian counter-consumerism ideal.
