Get someone to realise the truth about themselves in just a few words and yes ofcourse it going to hurt hence the word offensive.

the student calls the teacher a moreon ... and ofcourse that the truth if he/she has to sit to sit there looking at the teacher talk for bloody two hours. the teacher will find the word a form of offensive language.

Gaudy, fabulous, ostentatious, and in your face; brilliantly and excessively showy on the borderline of tacky but still classy. Used mostly to describe one's outfit, hair, accessories, and overall demeanor. The bigger, the louder, the more offensive.

"I love your new Louis Vuitton bag! It's so offensive!"
"That woman's hair is so big and offensive!"
"That outfit is so bright and offensive!"

Charm Offensive

A phrase used to describe the interaction between male and female, specifically in the context of courtship, as if the man were bombarding the woman with his charm.

Usually, when someone is on the charm offensive, they tend to exclude or ignore others in order to channel all of their social energy in on one person, who they have designated as their goal.

The term can also describe female behavior towards a man.

1. Ricky: (Looking at Peter, who is standing alone with a woman at a party, probably in a corner) Wow, look at him go...
Ricky's Mate: Yeah, he's on the charm offensive for sure

2. Peter: (To Ricky) Sorry i didn't really catch you last night, i was on the charm offensive

Ricky: Yeah i could tell...I doubt you got lucky though- misdirected energy really..

Being so lavish and "In your face" with wealth that it offends others

abuseing the fuck out of a restaurant full of people and then paying for there meals and drinks knowing that your wealth will offend them..making you "offensively rich"
