Get the Nightcoremug. A whole separate music community. Most people believe that it is just remixes of different songs but, there is so much more than just remixes. For example, dubstep in Nightcore is called Nightstep. Basically, Nighcore is a different reality of music. It is a faster, higher pitched, version of any song. If you were to look up a song but have it played in a different genre of music, such as screamo, then you are more likely to find it in a Nightcore version than to have found it played by someone in that specific genre. You are also more likely to find mashups of songs in Nightcore.
Person 1: "Have you heard the dubstep version of "Light Em' Up" by Fall Out Boy?"
Person 2: "You mean the one in Nightcore?"

Characterized by a wider variety of subgenres than classic Nightcore, including but not restricted to: metal and subgenres of metal, rock (usually alternative rock and J-Rock) and pop (most often K-Pop and J-Pop), as well as all the genres covered by classic Nightcore.
Nu Nightcore is also characterized by its contrasting happy upbeat music and sad/depressing lyrics.
