Mess entropy refers to the tendency of a room to naturally become less tidy as time progresses. May be expressed mathematically as:

dE=dM/t

where E is the mess entropy, M is the actual amount of mess, and t is a given time interval.

Regardless of a room's size, mess entropy will expand to fill it.

mess child

A mess child is someone who simply does not have their life in order. They drink excessively and never know when to stop. They are often in trouble with their parents and are often thought to be less favourable than other siblings. Mess children tend to get themselves in dangerous situations without realising the consequences. Mess children are avoided when they are drunk as they tend to cause drama and chaos.

Person 1 : Did you see Mary last night?

Person 2 : She is the definition of a mess child
