Acronym for "frustrated, envious, disappointed." Can be used as a v., adv., adj. "Fedder," (n. form). Shares with, say, cleave (adhere to) and cleave (divide)in that being fed (a state of emotion) leads to unhappiness, whereas being fed (with food, for example) is a way to happiness.
"Fed you!" (A variation on the old Chinese curse, "May you live in an interesting time.")
"That employee is a fedder." (Said of a disgruntled, always complaining person.)
"They always act in a fedly way." (Said of a group that puts a bad face forward, whatever the situation.)
"To fed or not to fed, that is the question." (Said of a person who isn't sure how to respond to a situation that allows for both praise and condemnation.)
