Dexter's Laboratory

The first actually original program on Cartoon Network, focused on a boy genius with an inexplicable accent of unknown origin who built a top secret laboratory hidden behind a bookcase in his bedroom. Episodes typically featured his inventions getting destroyed by his ditzy ballerina of a sister, Dee-Dee, alongside the occasional confrontation from resident antagonist, Mandark. The first season also had short superhero-themed segments that were quickly given the boot.

I remember the days of Dexter's Laboratory, where not every cartoon needed to have an over-arching story; all you needed were explosions and monkeys!

Dexter

Dexters are very smart, kind caring, and compassionate people. They are sadly despised, but once you get to know them they are great. They are also sporty and can run like a devil. They are control freaks that will yell at you if you do something wrong, but will give you a million compliments if you do a good job. They are also neat and tidy and draw everything with a ruler. They are a little odd at times, but that is because they are insecure about themselves. They make great boyfriends and are to die for in bed. Finally, they can be a little bit of a put down, but if you love them they will return it ten fold.

He is so great, he might even be a Dexter.

Dented can

When someone appears perfect or to have it "all together" like a perfectly placed can on the grocery shelf...but then when you look closer at the can you see its riddled with hidden dents.

Stacy always acts like she is so much better than everyone but she stays in every weekend eating ice cream and crying while watching Bridget Jone's Diary...what a dented can!
