A neologism where someone ironically/apolitically compares a situation to George Orwell's dystopian novel "1984" or an intentionally irrelevant/made-up piece of media, in order to mock people who compare modern-day censorship to the novel.
Gamer: Hey dude, do wanna play some video games?
Nerd: But, we have an exam tomorrow.
Gamer: Fuck! This is just like 1984!

Where kids are now a days are judged by how many likes they get on a photo, making kids now a days insecure and their self esteem to plumpish.
Person 1 - "How many likes did you get on that last photo?"
Person 2 - "Like 53..?"
