An acronym made up of the first letters of the common conjuntions For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet. One of these and a comma can join a dependent clause to an independent clause to make a compound sentence.

A semicolon isn't necessary, for I used a "fanboy" word in this sentence.

Fandom Snobbery is the act of acting in a condescending manner to someone inside or outside of your fandom. Usually takes place when fan A knows more than fan B and insults or berates them for not knowing it.

Also occurs between similar fandoms.

E.G: Between Twilight and Anne Rice fans. Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings.
