Boots on the ground

Grunts, infantry. A military cliche' which uses four words as a euphemism for "gound troops". It is a politically useful, 1984-style cliche' since boots do not bleed and die nor kill people, children, civilians. Media people like this rif because it makes them sound like military strategists.

Boots-on-the-ground is the kind of thinking that got wrong Viet Nam where sandals from tunnels stomped the boots on the ground.

chukka boots

Garish colored cowboy boots that curl way UP at the toe, looking similar to elves shoes. Generally worn by Mexicans at quarterhorse races, particularly match races. Most often accompanied by a matching belt of exotic animal skin and cowboy hats that double as taco holders. Wearers are most often followed by a broodmare with a muffin-top body stuffed into too tight jeans & litter of ill-mannered children that throw their garbage on the ground next to a trash can.

Lupita: Why is that guy with the chukka boots giving me the mexican eye fuck?

Boots

A chemist, which also sells electrical goods etc. - all hideously overpriced. It is the Chav's store of choice. They do not buy from the store, they steal, then go back to school and brag about it, offering to "nick anything for anybody at a fair price." This is what the common Chav will refer to as a hustle.

Vicky: Yeah, I nicked six fluorescent nail varnishes on Saturday. I'm going again on Monday, so if you want owt nicking let me know yeah?

boys, if you wanna attract girls like me (which you probably don't), you should try wearing cowboy boots. yes, you heard me. COWBOY BOOTS. maybe its just me, but it's INSANELY hot if you wear them. and im not talking temperature wise.
