Flashbang Noob

When a player on a game which has flashbangs on it, such as counter-strike and counter-strike:Source, uses it through inadequate means. He/she would use it all the time and generally on one person, due to a lack of skill.

The Flashbang Noob threw two flashbangs at me when I was alone because they have no skill.

noob aura

When a pro player plays something like DotA or CS, constantly owning, and then some random noob comes into the room or netcafe, the pro player suddenly starts to die and lose. This is caused by noob aura. It is very serious problem. The only way you can get rid of it is to kick the noob out of the room, netcafe etc etc. When you do this, your pro skills are returning to you instantly and you start to own again.

Pro player(playing dota): Double kill! Oh yeah! Triple kill!!! Oh yeah!!

Noob enters the netcafe: Hey guys. What's up? Wow you play dota! I have to watch!
Pro player: OMFG I DIED! FFS! SOMEONE KICK THAT NOOB OUT, HE IS SPREADING NOOB AURA! FAST BEFORE WE ALL START TO SUCK AS HELL.

Noob gets kicked out of netcafe.

Pro player: OH YEAH DOUBLE KILL AGAIN! RAPE THEM! GO FOR THE RAX!

metallica noob

Usually someone that is new to metal that knows of and listens only to the music of Metallica, considering them heaviest, best, fastest music on the planet. They also somehow get the idea that they have dominant musical knowledge of everyone else in the room because of this. Metallica noobs are known to constantly complain about how Metallica sold out with The Black Album. They also use "death metal," "black metal," and "thrash metal" interchangeably (despite their vast differences) when describing bands other than Metallica, then claim that they "don't give a fuck about genres" when they are corrected by real metal fans. Most of these kids probably listen to Slipknot.

Metallica Noob: Metallica is the best metal band ever d00d! Master of Puppets is the greatest album ever! It's so heavy and fast! Dave Mustaine is gay! Rock on!

Me: Metallica's a great band, but thrash is just one type of metal that will eventually start to get old. You should check out some death metal like Cannibal Corpse or Bloodbath. It's not quite fast but a little bit heavier. Or maybe even some 90's black metal like Dissection. And I happen to like Megadeth, bitch.

may originate from counterstrike but now it means the cheap ass close range sword used in Halo 2.

Noob Tube

A gaming term for an under-mounted grenade launcher such as the M203 or any other kind of launched explosive (RPG, Thumper, etc) used in first person shooter games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Use of such a weapon to get kills is considered 'cheap', since it requires very little skill to use. 'Noob' is a term for a newcomer to a game, and is used as an insult in gaming communities.

Damn, that noob got me with his noob tube for the eighth time this round!
