GET YA MIND RIGHT

A single from Young Jeezy's debut album: Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. The 10th track labeled "Get Ya Mind Right" is a reference to Jeezy as being the "realist gangsta alive". The song also references several activities one has to "Get Ya Mind Right" for; i.e trapping, disrespect (perceived and actual), police pursuits/interrogations/custody/harassment, baby mama drama, D Boy activities and so on......

Over time this has grew into a state of being for individuals who have become deeply rooted in the associated culture. While mainly being confined to the southern states...over time the ideology has grown to a significant portion of the U.S

Defender (2 seconds go by)-....slap(forehand)...slap(backhand) "Get Ya Mind Right and keep moving".

Girl-for-right-now-friend

A girlfriend that literally is for the "right now" benefit whether it be physical or other. It can also be a girlfriend because you are bored. This GF can also be a filler until you either get back with your ex-girlfriend or you end up with the girl you really want.

In rare cases, the girl "for right now" friend can end up being a long-term girlfriend.

Brosive: I'm going out with Kelli tonight.

Brosive's friend: Is she your GF?

Brosive: Nah bro, she's just my Girl-for-right-now-friend...

Brosive's friend: Sweet Bro!
