Discord Server Paradox

A discord server to be active must have its members inherited from a previous community or start out as an already established community. In failure that one of the previous traits is not established the server will ether transition into one of two outcomes:

i. Fade into inactivity

ii. Dissolve into an established community.

When a discord server is nuked a power vacuum is built. Popular associates of the server create their own splinters in an attempt to gain the members of the deceased server. (If successful) the splinters become the new established community so a cycle begins. The community becomes so far distant to its forefathers that the culture of the original server dies and thus the paradox continues.

This paradox in theory would mean that almost all discord servers can traced back to servers created in 2015 when discord first went public.
Person 1: I dont know how to make my server popular, everytime I make one it dies within a few weeks.

Person 2: Have you heard of the Discord Server Paradox?

Based Misogyny Paradox

The Based Misogyny Paradox refers to the phenomenon where upon taking “misogyny” to its logical end, one necessarily reaches the conclusion—just as a feminist would—that it is actually men who are to blame for every societal ill, due to the female sex’s inescapable dependence on male agency.
Feminist: “Men are responsible for every societal problem!”

Chad: “Yes! Including issues pertaining to modern women!”

Feminist: “Yes! Wait, how do you agree with me on this?”

Chad: “Because I am true misogynist, I have no choice but to blame men for everything.”

Feminist: “Oh f*ck you!”

Chad: “No thanks, you are fat and have blue hair.”

Feminist: *screeches unintelligibly*

The Paradox of Minimalism

The Paradox of Minimalism may be summed up in one sentence:

"If less is more, how little is too much?"

There are NIL Google results for that phrase, a quotation now attributable to Possom Cohen, New Zealand.

Time becomes more valuable as one ages. This is a classic example of the Paradox of Minimalism.
The Paradox of Minimalism is related to the passage of time and to The Holiday Paradox.

Bonnie Raitt addressed the passage of time and the Paradox of Minimalism in her song "Nick Of Time."

Bonnie Raitt - Nick Of Time

"I see my folks are getting on
And I watch their bodies change
I know they see the same in me
And it makes us both feel strange

No matter how you tell yourself
It's what we all go through
Those lines are pretty hard to take
When they're staring back at you

Oh Oh Oh, scared you'll run out of time

When did the choices get so hard
With so much more at stake
Life gets mighty precious
When there's less of it to wa-a-a-aste

Mmm-m-m-m-m-m
Mmmmmmm, scared you'll run out of time"

There's an old joke - um... two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, "Boy, the food at this place is really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and such small portions." Well, that's essentially how I feel about life - full of loneliness, and misery, and suffering, and unhappiness, and it's all over much too quickly.”

― Woody Allen, Annie Hall: Screenplay
The Paradox of Minimalism is epitomized in the opening sentence of this 2016 New York Times article:

"It has become an ostentatious ritual of consumerist self-sacrifice; people who have it all now seem to prefer having nothing at all."

The Paradox of Minimalism also describes some very rich people giving away most of their material possessions.

“The richer you are, the less you have.”

Another ironic example of the Paradox of Minimalism is the recent KonMari decluttering craze:

"I'm Joking" Paradox

When a person talks about a topic a little to much but denies liking the thing they are talking about, thus creating a paradox as it is unknown whether they actually mean what they say.
"Jake talks about liking that one girl a little too much but says he doesn't like her. I think its an "I'm Joking" Paradox"

The Charizard Paradox

The Charizard Paradox is a phenomenon in Pokémon and similar franchises where a character has a limited number of “types” it can have and is forced to exclude certain important aspects from its typing in order for equally important aspects to be included in its typing.

This phenomenon was originally named by Pokemon YouTuber MandJtv in his video titled The Charizard Paradox.
Guy 1: wait this thing isn’t evil type? But it’s super evil. That’s like it’s whole thing.

Guy 2: well it’s also a ghost plant thing. It’s ghost plant type.

Guy 1: but it being evil is like equally important as it being a ghost.

Guy 2: it’s also equally important that it’s a plant.

Guy 1: damnit it’s The Charizard Paradox.

pitbull paradox

When something is loved, owned, sought 9r, even hated based upon precieved value it adds by status. Those involved don't understand its care or details leading to mass misunderstanding, precieved danger etc.
The subject is then banned, barred or hunted for that perception until another group determined an injustice and, rally to protect it.
Many non-binary groups have been subject to the pitbull paradox being misunderstood or condemned and hunted until recently we realized it was unjust, unfair and prejudice
