Unless someone needs genuine practice or wants to hone their knowledge and is fast enough to complete work, homework is often seen as a waste of time. Sometimes, people are better off just reviewing their classwork for tests and studying or just coming up with their own problems. On the other hand, homework helps people maintain their balance of practice and is linked to higher student achievement.
