New-gen Ningen

(Derives from the Dragon Ball Community.)

A New-gen Ningen refers to someone who is part of the "newer" generation of a fanbase, and tends to be one of the most outspoken and hated parts of a community, most likely having not seen the show except through YouTube Shorts/TikTok, and making assumptions based on parodies or misinformation.

- A huge example of this is the Twitter Dragon Ball Community. Many of the people there just argue about Goku all the time, making up feats or saying things that he'd never do like brutally murdering someone in one shot. They take certain characteristics of Goku and then amplify them to 11.

Name Origin:
- 'New-gen' refers to this being the newer generation of fans
- 'Ningen' is mortal in Japanese. In Dragon Ball, a villain called Zamasu hates mortals, and uses this word a-lot. For this reason, the word 'ningen' has become a staple in the Dragon Ball community, which is why the community calls them 'New-gen Ningens'. Calling them mortals is also a way to look down upon this toxic and newer side of a community as well.

New York lonely boy

Made popular by Netflix’s Girls5Eva, a New York lonely boy is a son born to older parents who’s more comfortable around adults than kids.

They are all over the city, eating sushi and usually wear a fedora, high-giving a doorman. His sibling is the city!
Hey, why is Mike always high-fiving doormen across the city?

Ooh, Mike! He’s a New York lonely boy. No brother, no sister. Just one little lonely mister!

new-age scene girl

New-age scene girls a just like your traditional, mid 2000s scene girl, but "toned down" a little. They don't wear tutus meant for toddlers playing dress up or have hair looking like two rats had sex in, but they still like electronic rock music (not Blood On The Dance Floor though, Dahvie Vanity got his ass exposed) and emo-ish clothing.
Annalise: Who's that girl over there?
Cameron: Oh, that's August. She's a new-age scene girl
