Olivia previously released happier on her Instagram which is the 8th track on the album. The 2nd song, "traitor", has a similar melody to Olivia's unreleased song "white flowers". Olivia Rodrigo credited Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff in song "1 step forward, 3 steps back", as she sampled Swift's song "New Years Day" from album, Reputation.
